Terra Typica:

Bendimahi water falls, 9 km N Muradiye, Province Van, Turkey (elevation 1850 m).


Taxonomic notes:

Parthenogenetic unisexual species. Comes from a cross of D. valentini (♂) and D. raddei (♀)

Etymology: Named after the species type locality.
