IntroducedVenetian lineage (maculiventris-east)The introduced populations are probably natural hybrids between the Tuscany and Venetian lineages from the Bologna – Modena region, which show morphological characteristics of the Tuscany lineage (P. m. nigriventris), but belong to the Venetian lineage based on the mtDNA (S.
